The Association of British Orchestras is the trade association for professional orchestras in the UK and our membership reflects the diversity of British orchestras, both in their size, mission and geography.  The other part of the membership is the variety of other organisations that work in and support the orchestral sector.

The ABO has four distinct membership categories.  To view a list of members, click on the links below.

Full Membership for professional orchestras and ensembles.

Associate Membership for Conservatoires, Youth Orchestras, Overseas Orchestras and those British Orchestras who have not fulfilled the criteria for full membership.

Corporate Membership for the those organisations with related interests who share the aims of ABO.

Individual Membership is by invitation only and is offered to former administrative staff of British Orchestras who have left the profession or are working abroad and who wish to remain connected to the UK orchestral scene.
