ABO Launches New Website

24 November 2008

Small flute keysThe Association of British Orchestras unveiled its new website today, offering much improved navigation, a fully updated members database, and online booking to its annual conference.

The website has been a long time in development and the ABO is confident that it will offer a much improved service to its members. Latest meeting reports, press releases and briefing sheets will be easily available for download, links to external sites will be improved and members will be able to continue their networking away from their specialist manager meetings by using the online forums to ask questions and seek information from colleagues.

The Launch co-incides with the launch of the ABO's annual conference for 2009. The largest annual classical music conference, it takes place 25-27 February at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.

The Director of the ABO, Mark Pemberton, said:

"We are delighted to launch the ABO’s new website, which will make it easier for members and the public to see at a glance the work we do, from advocacy to learning, through communication and information."
