Brass Tacks

Brass Tacks are the ABO's successful annual series of one day management courses for those working in the arts sector.  These informative, introductory and refresher courses are led by experienced professionals, with 'insider' knowledge, who focus their course on the arts and orchestral sector.

Comments from Spring 2008 delegates:

''The tutor was inspirational.  She obviously really understood what it was all about (several tutors do not!) and put it across in a manner that was accessible & thought provoking''

''I was worried that it wouldn't drill down enough, but actually it was perfectly pitched for a wide group of diverse experience''

"Brass Tacks are great - do more!"

Previous courses have included:

All that you every wanted to know about fundraising, but were afraid to ask!
Essential IT
Finance for Non-Finance Managers
Introduction to Marketing
Negotiating Skills
Press and PR

Whatever area of arts you work in, Brass Tacks will help you to improve your skills and understand how your industry works.
