ABO members played to over 4.6 million people.

1200 musicians are on contract with British orchestras and more than 3000 are engaged as freelancers.

How many recordings do British orchestras make each year?
160 CD recordings were made with another 71 recordings made for TV or Film

How many concerts are broadcast on the radio?
There were over 476 live or recorded radio broadcasts given in the 2009/10 season. 

How many countries do British orchestras tour to?
39 countries were visited in 2009/10, across Europe, the USA and the Far East. These included China, Japan, Colombia and Australia.
