British Orchestras performed over 3000 times in 2003 - an average of 9 per day or 10 times as many concerts than the number of Premiership football matches in a season!

So there are an amazing amount of concerts going on in the UK every year.  During the 2004 Listen Up! Festival there were over 600 events in six weeks.
