The day included updates on the forthcoming ABO conference in Manchester as well as Listen Up! 2006, Noise regulations, acoustic shells and ACE funding.

We also welcomed:

• David Richardson to talk about Orchestras Live and the future direction of the Eastern Orchestral Board
• Mark Newbanks, Senior Artist Manager, Askonas Holt Ltd to discuss relationships between orchestras and artist's managers and
• Stephen Navin, Chief Executive, Music Publishers Association to discuss publishers hire charges and policies.
